UAE corporate tax support, from records to return

Corporate tax starts with a reliable accounting record and a clear view of the company’s status. We help identify what must be registered, reconciled and reviewed before a return is submitted.

Discuss your needs

Who it is for

A clear scope for your company.

For UAE mainland and free zone businesses that need help with registration, a first return, year-end tax adjustments or ongoing filing coordination.

What we handle

Work that connects to the next decision.

Registration and status

Review the entity, tax period and current registration position; support the information needed for EmaraTax registration.

Return preparation

Reconcile accounting records, document relevant adjustments and prepare the return for qualified review and approval.

Deadline control

Track the company-specific tax period and filing date, identify missing evidence early and keep a record of the final submission.

How it works

Start with the records. Agree the routine.

  1. Confirm entity details, tax period and access to the records.
  2. Review the accounts and identify decisions or documents that need your input.
  3. Prepare and review the return with you before submission and retain the supporting file.

What we need from you

Start with the evidence.

Trade licence, corporate tax registration details, financial statements and ledgers, relevant ownership or related-party information, and authorised EmaraTax access.

Scope boundaries

Agree the extras first.

Bookkeeping remediation, statutory audit, disputes and specialist legal opinions require a separate scope or appropriate specialist.

Common questions

Before you get started

Does VAT registration cover corporate tax?

No. The Federal Tax Authority says taxpayers must register for corporate tax even if they are already registered for VAT.

When is a corporate tax return due?

The Federal Tax Authority states that corporate tax returns are generally due within nine months of the end of the relevant tax period. We confirm the actual period and any applicable exception for your entity.

Do free zone companies need a review?

Yes. Free zone status alone does not establish the tax treatment of every income stream. We review the entity and its records against the rules relevant to its facts.
